2022 Corvallis Tweed Ride (8th Annual)
"Neighborhood Bikeways"
About this tweed ride
The 8th annual tweed ride occurred on April 24, 2022 and featured three streets that the City of Corvallis has designated to become "Neighborhood Bikeways" (low-volume, low-speed residential streets that have been enhanced to prioritize the safety of non-motorized transportation): 11th Street, 27th Street, and Tyler Avenue. We appreciated public art and murals along the way.
The weather was perfect, which along with advance media coverage (see below), might account for our highest attendance ever (29 riders). Our picnic was at the Corvallis Community Center and the after party was at Common Fields.Â
